The Weight of Water, Sustained by my Spine, 2015

Pinholes are one of the oldest known forms of cameras in Eurowestern tellings of photographic history. They occur in nature like happenstance, when light passes through small holes and cavities. This work was an investigation of performativity, colonial vision and material culture.
Clay vessel, large format film, water, gelatin silver prints. Installation view, Sullivan Galleries, School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
